Rick & Karen Clements moved to the Fountain Valley area in 2006 and began attending Widefield Community Bible Church. Rick was a Volunteer Chaplain with Transport for Christ, leading drivers and other travelers to Jesus Christ and leading them to grow in their faith. After a while, God called him away from that ministry. He has been growing in his relationship with Jesus Christ here at WCBC. God led Rick to become an elder at WCBC to serve our congregation. Rick and Karen have three daughters, nine grandchildren and one great grandson. They both like traveling, golfing and being with family. Rick likes to teach, fish, cook, and garden, and Karen enjoys sewing and doing crafts.
Chalmer was born in St. Louis, Missouri a long time ago and born again about 71 years ago as he was preparing to enter college. This event was used by God to direct his life and career and his commitment to serve Christ for life. After college, Chalmer worked for the government and a few years in the Army. He met his wife during my military service and after discharge moved to Colorado Springs where their relationship with the Bible Church ministry began. In 1980, they connected with WCBC. During his time here, he served in just about every part of the ministry including his present time as an elder. His marriage resulted in five children, two girls and three boys, and they in turn gave him twelve grand children.
