What is Widefield Community Bible Church?

Widefield Community Bible Church is a non-denominational church that cares about you and those around you. The purpose of our church is to glorify God by helping others love Him with their whole being, love one-another, and love those who do not have a relationship with Christ.

What are your Services like?

Our Sunday worship service is at 9:00 am. The Word of God is central in our services. We teach straight from the Bible, God’s revelation of Himself to man. Also during this time, children 4 years old to 5th grade enjoy their own learning in Children's Church where the Bible lessons are interactive for them.

What is your Music like?

Music is a gift of God, given to praise Him with both exuberant rejoicing and quiet reverence. In our services you will find a blend of both rich traditional music and some newer choruses. Our prayer is that both a 9-year- old and a 90-year- old could enjoy worshiping God here.

What is available for my children and teens?

On Sunday an optional Children’s Church is available during our worship service for children who are in first through fifth grade. This gives children a chance to learn the truths of God’s Word on their level. At 10:30 am we have Sunday School Classes (for all ages), which are a great opportunity to get to know each other better in smaller groups and to dig deeper into the Bible. For teens, there is also a monthly activity.

What should I wear?

We are not concerned about what you wear. We just want you to join us. If you are wondering what is “normal” in our church, you will find some in jeans and casual wear, some in suits and ties, and everything in between.

Is there Childcare?

There is childcare available onsite for our service and Sunday School hour by qualified and screened nursery and children’s workers. Our nursery is adjoining to our worship hall.

How do I become a part of the church?

A great place to learn more about our church is by attending a “new members class” where we go over who we are and what to expect. The class is offered twice a year during the Sunday School hour and usually goes for four consecutive weeks.

What do you believe?

WCBC is a non-denominational church that seeks to glorify God by helping others Love Him, Serve Others, and Share Christ. We would love to have you join us as we all seek together to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).

We believe the Bible. We proclaim it and explain it, applying its unchanging principles to the pressing problems of modern life and exalting its central figure, the Lord Jesus Christ.
